In March 2009, San Francisco band The Poor Luckies’ was formed by bassist Noah Balboa and former Kill Johnny frontman Danny Cutts.  Later joined by former The Industry drummer Nick Saylor in November 2009 the band recorded its 10-song demo Made in S.F. at Expressions Studios. Their revival of the 1980’s era, classic, punk rock has received a solid response, creating a name in the underground San Francisco punk scene.  The Poor Luckies have played shows across San Francisco and the bay area including Annie’s Social Club, El Rio, The Retox Lounge,The Rockit Room, and the Stork Club and have shared the stage with Jesse Morris and the Man Cougars, Officer Down, The Wobblies, Dead Panic and Anti-Social and have also appeared on Pirate Cat Radio in August 2009.

The Poor Luckies challenge the standard with their, raw, stripped-down and manic rock-and-roll influenced by The Misfits and smashed with the anti-establishment lyrics of The Adolescents. The Poor Luckies are performing some of San Francisco’s most unfiltered punk.
